Connee L. Pike, M.S. received her Bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Studies and her Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, both from Colorado State University. She studied with her first spiritual teacher for eight years learning dreamtime meditation, intuitive diagnostics, the 25science of consciousness, and the relationship between psychology and spirituality. She maintained a private practice for ten years specializing in women and trauma, chronic and terminal illness, and death, dying and grief. During this time she began to study comparative religions, first to understand the nature of suffering, and later as a tool for understanding the mystical path as taught by the world’s wisdom masters. In 1999, she became a Reiki Master integrating energy work into her practice. She trained to work with birthing and dying, becoming a licensed doula through BirthWorks, and earning her Certificate of Mastery in the Sacred Art of Dying, through The Sacred Art of Living Foundation with Richard Groves. She learned the arts of coma therapy, accessing and working with emotional and spiritual material in nonverbal clients, assessment and treatment of spiritual pain, and tools for spiritual growth and healing. She furthered her training by learning to work with Bach Flower essences, energy essences, and essential oils, integrating this with her ability to work with the spirit of plants. In 2003, Connee began working as a chaplain for Hospice of Napa Valley. She later became the spiritual care manager, supervising and training chaplains and volunteers to offer spiritual care to the dying. In private practice, she integrates her training and experience to support and guide individuals on their spiritual paths, assist individuals and families through the transitions of birth and death, and to teach classes and private students who wish to further their studies of consciousness, healing, reiki, dreamtime meditation, and spiritual midwifery.
